PPSN had lost an Asset

We all woke up to a sad news on the passing on of Prof Maryam Suleiman fppsn Late Prof Maryam Suleiman was an invaluable asset to the Society, the body of academics and researchers in public health especially neglected tropical diseases. She was a great supporter of the current executives and of good disposition to both old, young and upcoming vibrant members. The Chair BoT Prof (Mrs.) E.I. Braide had this to say of her "A big shock! I'm still trying to come to terms with the fact that she is gone... just like that! I co-supervised her PhD project with a Professor from Ilorin as external supervisors because her University did not have enough Parasitologists then. Since then we have been working together. May her gentle soul rest in Peace." The Society will plan a day of tribute in your honour as you stood as a Pillar for PPSN and us all. Adieu great Mother, Wife, Sister and Administrator
